DOCUMENTATION AND QUOTATION
Production according to drawing
The technical drawing and technical documentation should specify dimensions, tolerances, sheet metal
grade and thickness, as well as requirements for connections and surface finishing.
Material selection
The material and sheet thickness should be selected according to the intended use of the component and
its operating conditions. In the documentation, specify whether aluminium sheet, galvanized sheet or stainless
steel sheet is to be used, and provide the required material grade.
Quotation based on documentation
The cost calculation is based on drawings, specifications, the scope of required processing and the
number of pieces ordered. In the enquiry, specify the expected delivery date and indicate whether the order is for
prototypes or series production.
Quality control and dimensional inspection
It is advisable to agree on the scope of measurements and acceptance criteria before launching
production. This makes it possible to determine how dimensions and the conformity
of finished parts with the technical documentation will be verified.
