TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

Metal welding tailored to the project

We use different welding methods depending on the material, product design and joint requirements. We offer welding of stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. Welding method selection takes into account the material grade and thickness, required strength and weld quality.
PRODUCTION CYCLE

From a drawing
to a finished part

Sheet metal welding can be a standalone service or part of the full production cycle at PRITZ DEVELOPMENT, including the preparation of parts and assembly of subassemblies.

SCOPE OF SERVICES AND ORDER PREPARATION
Welding of stainless steel sheets and steel components When welding stainless steel sheets, the material grade, surface preparation and weld requirements are important. For structural steel projects, process selection should also take into account the loads and intended use of the finished component.
Welding of galvanized sheet metal We assess feasibility individually based on the documentation. The coating type, material thickness and joint design are important. Before production, preparation of the welding area and protection of areas where the coating will be damaged must be agreed.
Metalworking and welding services and component finishing The scope of the order may include preparing and fitting parts, making joints and assembling subassemblies. If the project requires grinding or other finishing operations, specify the required result in the documentation. The appearance of the welds and the surface of the finished component should be agreed before production.
Limiting distortion and quality control Limiting distortion is particularly important when welding thin sheet metal. Distortion is affected by component preparation, process parameters and the sequence in which the welds are made. Dimensional inspection and assessment of joint quality should correspond to the acceptance criteria established for the project.
Documentation and quotation for welding services The technical documentation should specify dimensions, joint types and weld requirements. We quote welding according to drawings, taking into account the material grade and thickness, scope of work and production run size. Attach drawings and information about the planned number of pieces and delivery date to the enquiry.
